A fun, hands-on photonics and optics workshop designed for high school teachers. This regional workshop will help educators bring optics and photonics concepts into the classroom. Hosted with the Florida Photonics Cluster, Orange County, Valencia College, and AmeriCOM.

    Anticipated tours: Orange County Innovation Center and ER Precision Optical Corp. Tour details are subject to final confirmation.

    What to expect

    Workshop sessions, tours, and quick partner presentations.

    Anticipated tours include the Orange County Innovation Center and ER Precision Optical Corp. If ER cannot accommodate the group, alternate Cluster member tours may be considered.

    A time slot is planned for brief presentations by the Florida Photonics Cluster, Valencia College, and the UCF College of Optics & Photonics. Tables will also be available for information distribution.

    Note: Final tour stops and timing may be updated as the workshop schedule is confirmed.
